About Emily Jobbins
Founder of Wowzer Cosmetics Training Academy
Wowzer Cosmetics was established in 2016 by Emily Jobbins, with the vision of creating a training academy that combines professional education, clinical safety and high standards within the aesthetics industry.
Since its launch, Wowzer Cosmetics has grown from a specialist beauty clinic into a recognised training academy and ProQual Skills Centre, delivering regulated qualifications in aesthetic practice.
Emily’s journey into aesthetics and education has been shaped by a strong academic background and a commitment to continual professional development.
Academic and Professional Background
Emily has always placed education at the centre of her career and is currently completing her fourth degree-level qualification.
Her academic background includes:
• LLB Law Degree – Swansea University
• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
• Level 7 qualification in Aesthetic Practice
• Currently training as an Adult Nurse (commenced 2025)
This unique combination of law, education, aesthetics and healthcare training allows Emily to bring a comprehensive understanding of regulation, teaching methodology, clinical safety and professional practice to the aesthetics industry.
Emily also holds qualifications as a:
• Level 3 Assessor
• Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
These qualifications allow her to deliver and quality assure regulated qualifications within the aesthetics sector.
Emily’s long-term goal is to continue developing her clinical expertise through nursing and to progress towards independent prescribing, further strengthening the medical foundations of her work within aesthetic practice.
From Beauty Specialist to Regulated Training Provider
Emily first entered the beauty industry in 2016 as a Brow Specialist, qualifying in Level 4 Micropigmentation and Semi-Permanent Makeup.
Her attention to detail and specialist knowledge quickly built a strong reputation locally, particularly in corrective brow work, where a large proportion of her clients sought treatment to correct previous procedures carried out elsewhere.
As her reputation grew, Emily expanded her treatment portfolio and began pursuing advanced training within the field of aesthetics.
After extensive study and clinical training, she qualified as an Aesthetic Practitioner in 2018, later progressing to achieve advanced Level 7 training in dermal fillers.
Emily’s expertise and commitment to education led her to establish Wowzer Cosmetics Training Academy, where she began delivering professional training courses to aspiring practitioners.
Recognition Within the Industry
The quality of training delivered through Wowzer Cosmetics has been recognised within the industry.
The academy was a finalist in the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards in both 2019 and 2020 for Training Academy of the Year.
Emily herself was also recognised as a finalist for Semi-Permanent Makeup Specialist of the Year, highlighting her expertise within the field.
